CHANTAL BIYA FOUNDATION
Working for universal health care access, psychological support, and assistance to vulnerable communities.
Madam Chantal BIYA
« Making solidarity a daily reality and offering an equal chance of healing and fulfillment to every child and every vulnerable mother. »
For 32 years, the momentum of solidarity that I have built has been consolidating every day. The areas of intervention remain unchanged: health, especially that of the mother and child, the promotion of education, the empowerment of women, assistance to vulnerable people, the fight against AIDS, malaria, infectious and non-communicable diseases, etc., are all challenges that we meet together.
I am deeply concerned about the plight of these many children who are still born with HIV despite the means offered by scientific advances. This is unfair and unacceptable because protecting the future of our children is a general priority, but mine in particular.
Let us continue working together to offer prospects of a better future to all those who suffer. Solidarity is our true shield against human suffering.
In this regard, allow me to express my deep gratitude to all my partners who have always believed in me and faithfully accompany me in this noble mission. I would like to salute and congratulate the commitment of my Sisters First Ladies of Africa who work to alleviate the suffering of our populations.
I thank my collaborators of the Chantal BIYA Foundation, the Circle of Friends of Cameroon, African Synergies, CIRCB and CHRACERH for their exemplary dedication and daily commitment.
Once again, thank you infinitely.
